Yes, my friends… my favorite Nordic goddess, Aafke, has once again tagged her favorite old, fat Texan for yet another meme’! This one, as evidenced by the photo above, is about bedrooms! LOL! The rules are simple:
* Post one or more photos that were taken from within your own bedroom. The more interesting and artistic, the better!
* Then tag at least three others to do the same.
* Don’t forget to link back to the person who tagged you.
So, the photos above show (in clockwise order, starting at the upper left) the view from my loft windows, which is always wonderful; my bulletin boards, filled with many of my treasures; my favorite boots, along with a clean pair of socks (to keep my feet from stinking too badly!); and, last but not least, a mounted Texas map, from 1874. Needless to say, there are other things in my bedroom… but I thought these four were the most interesting!
As part of the curse, I must now tag three other unsuspecting victims… (my apologies in advance!) so I tag Holly, Fighting Windmills, and The Canvas Grey! Have fun and please forgive me!

I followed your link from Aafke’s blog just to see what your room looked like. Very nice! My husband has boots similar to yours.
I love The Voice of the Martyrs. I read their magazines each month. You have some very nice things on your blog. Maybe I’ll snoop around a bit and read more about you.
I’ve never been to Texas, but heard the Texans are really really really proud of being Texans. I think the map on your wall might prove it.

Lofter, I’m afraid I’ve completely relapsed into my mental illness. When I saw the photographs from Aafke’s bedroom, I sank into a two day session of self-abuse involving a live chicken, a pocketful of partially used breath mints, a bathtub full of cherry jello and approximately a half gallon of Crisco. I now have blisters (and jello) in places I didn’t even realize I had. I’m afraid I need to have myself committed to a mental institution. I plan on doing just that, as soon as the blisters have healed.

What the heck does all that drivel mean? At least in your comment he made some sort of sense, albeit disturbing sense….
Apparently he is a very disturbed individual. Hopefully he’ll get the mental health assistance he needs before he blisters himself any further.
